Terms of use

AI Token Counter is run by Evan and is free to use. By using it, you accept these terms.

Last updated Oct 19, 2026

Estimates, not bills

Token counts are estimates unless a page says they’re exact, and costs are worked out from vendors’ published list prices. Neither is a bill. Before you set a budget or charge a client, check your provider’s usage data and invoices.

Prices change

We check each price against the vendor’s own page and show the date we checked it. Vendors change prices and limits without notice, so a price here can be out of date.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from relying on its numbers.

Independent site

We aren’t affiliated with Meta, Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Google or DeepSeek. Model and company names are trademarks of their owners, used here only to identify the models we price.

Pilot

Joining the pilot is optional. How we handle the email you give us is set out in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

We’re testing project cost reviews with developers who already pay an LLM API bill. Two quick questions first.

Do you have an AI app live in production or in steady trial?

Do you pay an LLM API bill every month?

We only ask for your email if the pilot fits you.
